You can find lake side cottages and bungalows, early vacation homes and some newer construction Many of the original homes have been recently remodeled and the ones that haven't are in big demand. Depending on the location of these older homes the prices can sometimes be high. The median price for a home in Briarcliff is over $200,000 but many smaller homes are well under this price. The community itself revolves around the lake and its many activities. For the boating enthusiast the Braircliff Marina can be the center of the universe. Most boating adventures start at the marina, where you can gas up the boat, have lunch or dinner at the Lakehouse café or cruise the shores in search of other activities to fill lazy sun drenched days and balmy evenings. If you don't own a water craft take advantage of the marina rentals and experience the lake at its best. Shopping and area businesses are located in the many neighboring communities. Everything you need is within minutes of Braircliff and most residents are happy to stay close to the community they love. For a day in the city, Austin is a short commute and offers all the big city entertainment and activities anyone could possibly want.
